In March 1928, on the eve of the Great Depression, John C. Tyler and Thomas E. Leavey launched a tiny automobile insurance business in Los Angeles. Today, thanks to their vision, drive and business principles, Farmers Insurance Group ranks among the largest insurance and financial services companies in the U.S. “Sound Thinking….” was commissioned in honor of Farmers’ diamond anniversary in March 2003.
